Description
In rural areas, boxcars such as this are used as storage for livestock feed. I used to play on one at my grandmother's place when I was a child. Imagination soared!
This is painted on quilting fabric for a train quilt being assemble by the Eastern New Mexico Art Space in Tucumcari, New Mexico as a commemorative quilt of our City's railroad history.

I like the contrast between the bright blue sky and the green of the plains. You have captured the brightly lit landscape so well! L/v

What a wonderful place to spend part of a childhood! Love this rendition of the landscape. I feel I can see for miles and run through tall grasses, pretending!
