Description
A swift fox also known as Vulpes Velox, is a small light orange and tan fox about the size of a domestic cat. Its natural habitat is in short grass prairies and deserts. In the United States its natural habitat is states including Montana, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas and is also found in Canada. The fox, as painted here, was in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range in northern New Mexico.
This painting was requested by and a gift to my brother who came across this little fox and took its picture.
